Oral presentation
The oral presentations will be scheduled in multiple concurrent technical sessions during the event.
Each oral presentation will be 12 minutes in duration, including 2 minutes of discussion. The
presenters must not include more than 15 PowerPoint slides for their talk to restrict themselves
strictly within the tight time schedule. All the equipment will be provided, including PC, Laptop, LCD
projector, and other electronic multimedia facilities.
Poster Session
There are poster presentations of the papers. Participants who have been selected for poster presentation may contact the organizers well in advance. The space given for the poster would be 841 x 1189 mm, i.e., 33.1 x 46.8 inches (A0 size) in portrait mode. Please ensure that your poster will fit into this space. All other details of design and format are up to the author (s). who will display their posters at their respective poster sessions
Plenary Session
Apart from the discussion of papers, a number of plenary speakers have been invited from India and
abroad dealing with the topics of the three plenary sessions mentioned below.

Plenary Session-2: “Human Geography in the 21st Century: Emerging Issues and The Way Forward”
Plenary Session-3: “Sustainable Development Goals and Future Earth Initiatives”
Panel Discussion Session
Renowned experts have been invited from India and abroad as panelists, and they will cover three
panel discussion themes mentioned below.
1. Geomorphology for Society
2. Resilient Cities: Global Economics and Social Change
3. 100 Years of Geography Education in India: Changing Pedagogic Practices
